Give todayTwo pathways, one continuum, because a child's life is not divided into silos.
Refugee Horizons was built on a single conviction: refugee talent is real, but the bridge to professional opportunity is missing — and that gap starts in early childhood, when a family with nowhere safe to leave a child cannot build the income to reach that bridge at all.
So we run two pathways side by side, not one after the other: Itetero gives the youngest children a safe foundation from 6 months to 3 years old, while Mahama — The House of Talents — carries refugee-led talent development through childhood and youth. Both converge in livelihoods, strengthening the whole family, not just one part of it.

Discover MahamaItetero Daycare was built on a simple insight: a mother cannot grow her business if she has no safe place for her child — and without that safe place, a parent often has no choice but to bring the child along, at real risk to the child's health and development. Today, 90% of enrolled mothers report measurable income growth, and their children are arriving at formal school ready to learn.
