Get Involved
Skilled volunteers are welcome. Bring your expertise to our work in Kirehe District, locally or remotely.
We prioritise volunteers who bring skills that directly strengthen our programmes and communities.
Support children and youth with literacy, numeracy, secondary school preparation and English language skills.
Coach football, athletics, volleyball or other sports as part of our talent discovery and social integration programmes.
Provide business mentoring, financial literacy training or market-linkage support to entrepreneurs in our livelihoods programme.
Support our early childhood nutrition programme, community health education or psychosocial support activities.
Help us tell our story — photography, videography, social media, copywriting or graphic design.
Support our MEAL team with data collection, analysis, report writing or evaluation design.
Community-first approach
All volunteers work under the direction of our local team. We do not parachute in external expertise — we integrate it into community-led processes.
Safeguarding requirements
All volunteers working with children or vulnerable adults must complete our safeguarding training and provide references before starting. This is non-negotiable.
Minimum commitment
We ask for a minimum commitment of 4 weeks for in-person volunteers, or an agreed project scope for remote volunteers.
No payment
Volunteer positions are unpaid. We cannot cover travel, accommodation or living costs for international volunteers. Local volunteers may receive transport support depending on the role.
Language
Kinyarwanda and/or French are advantageous for in-person roles. English is the working language for remote and communications roles.
